RJ Stone is a pen name for Eileen Troemel who writes books for adults. RJ is a combination of my parent’s first names and Stone is my maiden name. My parents have both passed away and this is a way of honoring my parents while I keep separate my other writing which is not children friendly.
With the publishing of children’s books, I hope to inspire other children to fall in love with reading just as I did at a young age. I cannot imagine not reading whether it is listening to an audio book, reading a paper book or using an electronic device to read.
Stories are important. They help children to imagine and to learn life lessons. My hope for this page is to share my books (this is my first but not my last – I hope) and to offer a place for parents and teacher to come for more information. More on that as it is developed.
